The Maldives briefly closed its borders to several countries on 27 November 2021, but has reopened for tourists again on 29 December. Vaccination is not required to enter - but if you ARE fully vaccinated it means you don't need to endure an outgoing PCR test, only a return one - only negative PCR tests no older than 96 hours are required upon arrival. Children below the age of one year are exempt.
